OG Kush
About
This legendary strain boasts a complex aroma with notes of fuel, skunk, and spice.
History & Origin
OG Kush's origins are debated, but the most widely accepted story is that Matt 'Bubba' Berger brought Chemdawg seeds from the East Coast to Florida, where grower Josh D obtained a cutting that he brought to Los Angeles in 1996. The 'OG' in the name is contested — theories include 'Ocean Grown', 'Original Gangster', and 'OverGrow' (a reference to the cannabis forum). OG Kush became the foundation of virtually every popular California strain from 2005 onward.
