Bubba Kush originally appeared in 1996 when an OG Kush hybrid was accidentally pollinated by an unknown indica strain (believed to be an Afghan variety). The result was a stocky, resinous indica that became a staple of California's medical marijuana scene. Matt 'Bubba' Berger is credited with its spread.
