History & Origin

Northern Lights was originally bred in Seattle, Washington by a mysterious grower known as 'The Indian'. The genetics were brought to the Netherlands by Nevil Schoenmakers in 1985, where they were further refined at The Seed Bank (later Sensi Seeds). Northern Lights #5 phenotype won the Cannabis Cup multiple times and became one of the most important breeding parents in cannabis history.
